Gold Coast - day 1 and 2

Day 1 - Woke up early on the day of leaving Adelaide as our flight was due to leave at 9am. We drove to the airport and parked at the long-term carpark instead of spending $50 on taxi. Was so tired because I had a rough night, as per usual.. Checked-in, met up with parents' friends and their families, ate brekkie at Hungry Jacks, then walked to our gate. Flight took around 2.5 hours, I tried to sleep but felt too uncomfortable. Arrived at Brisbane airport at 12pm-ish, rented a car for the trip then drove to our place - Meriton Apartments. It was an hour drive o.o checked-in, went to our room - the view is spectacular! Later we walked with the gang to Pacific Fair which was a 15 min walk away. Had lunch there, walked around a bit, mum went to Coles to stack up on essentials for our stay. I bought 2x 4-pack V energy Not Orange mmm! 2 for $12, so cheap! Walked back to our apartment to unpack and rest for a bit then walked across the road to Jupiter's Hotel and Casino. Had dinner at the buffet there, so good! Chocolate pudding was amazinggg! :D after dinner, most of the adults decided to stay and gamble at the cas. The rest of us took a taxi-van back to the apartment, arrived at 8pm. Had nothing better to do so spent the night editing a vlog I made throughout the day haha. It was a sad night.

Day 2 - Had trouble sleeping, woke up to a depressed state of mind. A delayed message from the boyfriend made me feel better. We left the apartment at 9.30 am and drove to Sea World, meeting up with the others there. It was such a nice, sunny day that my mood was instantly lifted. Plus I felt like a little kid when I got pass the entrance hehe! :D the first show we went to see was the sea lion show which played at 10.15 am. The next show my brother and I (others were too slow so we ditched them and headed to the show ourselves) saw was the dolphin show which was at 11.15 am. Between then we saw a pool of stingrays (which we were allowed to pat!), the cute polar bear, sharks, and had snow cones :) after eating lunch at 12pm, we went to the monorail station which rides around the theme park. Along the way, I saw a airbrush tattoo place, and I couldn't resist!! ;) 2.30 pm we went to Harbour Town - 1000x better than Adelaide's Harbour Town. Spent over $100 I think! It was a much needed retail therapy :) got back to the apartment at 5.30pm after being stuck in peak-hour traffic for 30-60 mins. Went straight to Four Winds 360 degrees restaurant in Crown Hotel. Sooooo much better than the 360 restaurant in Sydney x9000! Because it was a buffet, and oh boy, I was so hungry that 1.5 hours was not enough time for me to eat my money's worth! *drools* loved the lamb, beef, smoked salmon, OYSTERS (I usually dislike oysters), quail, spinach quiche, bread + butter, black forest cake, duchess potatoes, chocolate mousse, custard, and fruit salad! :D ah, so happy. In the end, I felt like my stomach expanded to my lungs. I loved it there - a must-go next time! Came back to the apartment at 8pm :) relaxation night. Tomorrow will be bussssyyyyy again.
