I started working at Asian's grocery in mid-October and quit on the 22nd of December, so that lasted for a good 2 months haha. I was so stressed with having to work on Christmas and Boxing Day that I called up saying that parents needed me to work on the farm because they were busy picking. Which was true, I was working there most days of the week until Christmas since markets were closed on public holidays. Sometimes it's hard working on the farm but then I think to myself that I'd rather work on the farm than the grocer.
I stopped going to see someone about my problems.. or well, I'm going to stop. Only been to two sessions and I feel like it's not helping me. I need to find my confidence elsewhere. Maybe I'll try hypnotherapy! Last month I bought a voucher for IPL hair removal which was awesome. So giddy when I don't have to shave my underarms, legs or down-there so often. Been to two sessions and have 6 more. The lady who does it told me about hypno sessions.. which got my interested. I'll think about it later down the track.
In November, I caught up with my best friends. Had dinner at Gin Long Canteen.. sooo good. Loved the lychee duck! :D Went out with Peter on dinner dates quite a bit. When I was working so much, I forgot about making time for my lovely boyfriend. :') He took me out to Pink Pig for steak which was perfection. Best steak I tried as of yet. We went to his friends' Christmas party. I remember being tired, plus stressed about finding a KK gift for Aki :S had a good time nonetheless. Bought myself the Mighty Mug after I saw it in Bubz's vlog. Almost broke it when I punched the mug to knock it over haha.
On Christmas day, parents planned to have a bbq but changed the event to the next day. They forgot to update one of my relatives and they came over when my parents bought a Tasmanian crab :0 I felt bad for my parents because they spent $300+ on that crab haha. My relatives didn't want to eat it xD luckily Peter brought over pizza that day (and we had huge king prawns) so we had a variety of food. Bought my family presents this year. For Peter, I got him a Zelda wall clock, Obol cereal bowl, tetris mug and pug socks :P For Chi, I got him the Zen candle tray set at Dusk, with lychee scented candles. For Kym, bought her Revlon makeup gift pack. And for my parents, I bought them massage vouchers at Endota spa :O I'm hoping they'll use it! It's sitting in the kitchen drawer atm. Peter gave me a cute apron and box of quality chocolates! He told me to have one chocolate a day but I haven't been eating chocolates from the box because it's so pretty. Went to the boxing day sales +_+ never again! Not by myself anyway. Gosh, so many people waiting in line for stuff. I bought myself a memory foam travel pillow and new bed sheets from Spotlight. Finally have 1200TC sheets, no more peasant sheets for me haha jk. Bought a Michael Kors handbag from $399 down to $180 at David Jones. Yup. Had it discounted because there was a little mark on it. Worth it haha. Also bought new Nikes, wasn't on sale but needed a new pair of runners. So thankful Peter came later to help carry bags.
For the eve of New Years, Peter and I went to see the new Hobbit :D 3 year tradition now! Skipped fireworks though for hotpot at home. Was so hungry and moody haha. Yea, had an eventful last few months of 2014. Excited and scared of what this year has to offer. Hopefully more money hahaha btw
